In a dystopian and Christian extremist USA, where the president is called Steven Spielberg, the worst city of them all is called Bangland. The moral abyss is here, where the supposed Christian guardians of morality and the criminals both gleefully use violence to keep each other down. Nothing is sacred in this intertextual overdose of Americana seen through Italian eyes that shockingly enough might anticipate our own reality’s imminent future.
