The Iranian animation industry is getting wind in its sails. ‘The Last Fiction’, the first feature film to be produced in its entirety premiered last year (and is showing at VOID this year!) and a new generation of talent provides the lifeblood of the growing industry, churning out work in a country where freedom of artistic expression is far from a given. This programme presents some of the best Iranian shorts from the last couple of years, each of them a unique expression of creativity.
