To ensure that everything goes smoothly and we can all enjoy the brand new world of Digital VOID, we prepared a Frequently Asked Questions page. Eventive, our streaming platform, also answered some questions from their side: Read their FAQ here.
VOID 2021: Audience FAQ
Does the festival pass give access to all the films?
Yes, to ALL 100 films in the catalog.
I live in Helsinki (or just outside of Scandinavia), can I access the films?
Unfortunately, the films are only accessible in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
Is there a student discount?
Nope. For this reason, we set a low price so that everyone can afford awesome animation for the price of a burger.
Are the films accessible at any time or is there a schedule?
You can watch it in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening and at night. You decide what and when to watch. Only a few titles will be available for 24h only. Follow VOID on Facebook and Instagram to know when they become available.
The short films are divided into programs (it’s VOID’s suggestion), so it’s not too overwhelming and you can watch them in that order.
Do I pay extra for the feature films?
No, everything is included in the festival pass.
How many times can I watch a film?
As many times as you want in the watch window, which is 30 days.
The catalog is great but I don’t know what to choose. Help?
We have you covered. Use the tags in the Catalogue tab. They serve as filters.
Does VOID screen content for children?
Yes, plenty! Use the filter “kid-friendly” and enjoy some quality time with your family. You can also scroll through the list to find “VOID Caterpillar” and press play.
When can I watch the films?
Starting from February 25th, you can enjoy one month of animated films at a small price.
Where can I watch the films?
Go to VOID Film Festival on Eventive.
Where can I buy the festival pass?
Do I need to reserve the ticket for a specific screening or a specific film?
Hell no. This is the beauty of going online. You can watch as many films as you want in the catalog at your own time.
Can I cast the films on my TV (Chromecast etc.)?
Yes! Follow the instructions here.
It says that I’m not in DK/SE/NO and I can’t watch the screening. Help!
Don’t worry, it’s probably your internet provider. Contact Eventive and they’ll quickly unblock your IP 🙂
